    In addition to a bustling showroom with dozens of exhibitors selling their wares, Linework NW also features a wide-ranging set of programing. Full details will be announced as we get closer to the show, but highlights include:

    Floating World Comics, 400 NW Couch St

    Edie Fake’s Memory Palaces has just been released! Published by Secret Acres, Memory Palaces will make it’s West Coast debut at Linework NW. To celebrate, Fake will be giving a short and colorful experimental lecture on the sexuality of patterns that weaves together fabric, the tarot, the concept of individuality and jeggings. He’ll be talking about mental architecture and may touch on a side interest, teeth with faces. Something refreshing will be provided for those who come to snack and copies of the new Memory Palaces art zine will be available to ogle and purchase!

    Linework NW Opening Party & Exhibit: Jim Woodring & Michael DeForge

    Reading Frenzy, 3628 N Mississippi Ave

    The official opening party for Linework NW is at legendary Portland small press champion Reading Frenzy, in their brand new location! Including an exhibit featuring the work of Jim Woodring and Michael DeForge in our new gallery space! Both artists will be in attendance. Come meet and greet!

    Wrap up event day by joining exhibitors, organizers, and volunteers for post-show festivities!
    EM Space Book Arts Center is an epicenter for creative minds, and a community of printers and bookmakers dedicated to craft. The letterpress, bookmaking, and screenprinting studio is located in the Inner Burnside neighborhood of Portland; mere blocks from the Norse Hall exhibition space of Linework NW.
    Admission is free for exhibitors and volunteers. The general public is asked a $2 cover.

    Gridlords is a monthly comics and performance event, and you’ll never know what to expect! Except I can actually tell you to expect some phenomenal acts by Linework NW exhibitors  Andrice Arp, Michael Deforge, Matthew Thurber, Yumi Christina Sakagawa, Daria Tessler, Julia Gfrorer, Ross Jackson, and GUMMI.
    This is the official chill-out event of LWNW. Come blow your mind and relax your way into the post Linework world.
